Red Kettle Concert now set for Dec. 14

Bells are ringing at local Kroger stores as the Salvation Army faces a greater-than-normal need this year.

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Due to these difficult times, the Center of Hope, The Salvation Army’s Homeless Shelter and Soup Kitchen, needs your help.

us for a Christmas concert! The Salvation Army’s annual tradition of volunteers ringing bells and collecting money in their red kettles outside of your favorite stores is expected to be negatively impacted this year.

With fewer red kettles due to COVID, the need to help those facing hunger is greater than ever before. The annual Red Kettle Campaign is the biggest annual fundraiser for The Salvation Army and directly funds their emergency shelter, the Center of Hope.

The concert will be streamed on the Salvation Army’s Facebook page.
