AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Richmond County Sheriff’s Office SWAT officers and others arrested a wanted man Tuesday at an Augusta apartment complex.

Around 2:50 pm, the U.S. Marshal’s South East Regional Task Force found Terrell Crawford Jr., 23, at River Creek Apartments, 2525 Center West Parkway.

Crawford was wanted for multiple felonies including two aggravated assaults, terroristic threat and acts, cruelty to children and reckless conduct, according to deputies.

With a coordinated initiative involving the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office SWAT and violent crimes division, Crawford was taken into custody without incident, according to deputies.

Crawford had been the subject of a SWAT call-out on Aug. 1 at his listed residence of 1014 Hunter St., but had fled the scene before deputies arrived, according to authorities.
