AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - When some Masters patrons were away to watch some golf, thieves got into their hotel room and stole some things.

Deputies were alerted to the burglary around 6:45 a.m. April 6 at the Suburban Extended Stay Hotel, 1052 Claussen Road.

Two victims said their room had been broken into, and someone had stolen items while they were at the Masters Tournament.

Deputies reviewed the surveillance footage showing two subjects enter and remain in the room for around 45 minutes, deputies say. The burglars left in a gold, old-model Toyota Camry, deputies say.

One of the suspects was identified Kenneth Brown Jr., 43, who’s 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs around 165 pounds, deputies say.

If you have information about him, you’re urged to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.
