Man accused of attempted murder in Aiken County shooting

JACKSON, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - One person was sent to a hospital after an argument turned violent, and the suspect has been charged with attempted murder, according to authorities.
The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office confirms around 10:30 p.m. Monday, officers responded to the 100 block of Bailey Circle to investigate a report of a domestic disturbance.
Capt. Eric Abdullah says a victim was transported to the hospital for treatment and was conscious at the time of transport.
Investigators have arrested the suspect, Jeremy Patrick Crawford, 25, and charged him attempted murder, and with unlawful carrying of a firearm, authorities say.
Officials say more charges could be issued as the investigation continues.
