AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Mostly clear and calm conditions overnight allowed lows to drop near 40° by sunrise this morning. Augusta Bush Field Airport briefly touched 39°.

Beautiful weather expected the next several days as high pressure over the region keeps us dry and temperatures comfortable. Sunny skies expected today with highs in the mid-70s. Winds will be out of the east between 5-10 mph.

Cool start early Wednesday with sunrise temperatures in the upper 40s. Partly cloudy skies expected Wednesday with highs in the upper 70s. Winds will be out of the east between 5-10 mph.

The second half of the week is looking warmer with afternoon highs near 80 degrees Thursday through the weekend. Morning lows will be much warmer as well with lows in the middle 50s Thursday through the weekend.

No rain is expected through next weekend, so the weather really looks great for outdoor plans for the next 7 to 10 days or so.
