It’s time for more overnight lane closures at state line

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - There will be more overnight lane closures along Interstate 20 at the state line as part of the Savannah River bridge project.
The closures will allow guardrail repairs and concrete curing.
The closures will include:
- 9 p.m. Thursday to 6 a.m. Friday: Single, right-lane closure on westbound I-20 from mile marker 1 in South Carolina to mile marker 200 in Georgia.
- 10 p.m. Friday to 8 a.m. Saturday: Single, right-lane closure on eastbound I-20 from mile marker 201.5 to mile marker 200 in Georgia.
- 9 p.m. Monday to 7 a.m. Tuesday: Single, right-lane closure on eastbound I-20 from mile marker 200 to mile marker 201.5 in Georgia.
During this time, the right shoulder of I-20 may be impacted. Motorists should expect delays and drive with caution through the work zone.
