4 months later, man accused of shooting outside Warrenville bar

WARRENVILLE, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - Four months later, a 23-year-old suspect has been arrested in connection to fight that ended in a shooting outside a bar in Warrenville on Wednesday, according to jail records.
On Sept. 29, 2023, deputies say they responded to the Daily Dose, located at 1187 Augusta Road in Warrenville in reference to a shooting around 2:19 a.m.
Upon arrival, deputies say they found a victim on the ground next to the building, along with several others who were attempting to help the victim.

EMS crews and more officers arrived on scene to help secure the area and further help the victim, authorities say.
The victim was then transported to the hospital, according to officials.
Witnesses leaving the bar stated they saw a fight between a group of people, then heard a gunshot, authorities say. They also stated they attempted to help the victim.
One witness told authorities he witnessed an individual run up during the fight, at which time there was a gunshot, and he then saw the person run away.
According to deputies, they were advised the possible suspect in this case, Dwayne A. Wilson Jr., of North Augusta, who also goes by the name of “Weazy.”
The suspect left in an unknown vehicle before deputies arrived, authorities say.
Wilson would have been 22-year-old at the time of the crime, according to jail records, he had a birthday between the crime and yesterday.
Records show Wilson has been charged with one count of attempted murder, one count of possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and unlawful carrying of a weapon.
He has also been charged regarding previous illegal incidents.
- Oct. 24, 2022 - one count of forgery
- Aug. 15, 2022 - one count of criminal conspiracy, one count of felony drug possession, one count of misdemeanor drug possession, and unlawful carrying of a weapon.
