Student found with gun during fight at Glenn Hills High
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A gun was found during a fight at Glenn Hills High School on Tuesday, according to a letter sent home to families.
Principal Valeria Smith says the weapon was found on a student.
The letter states the Richmond County School System Police responded and recovered the weapon.
The incident is being addressed by the school system police and the Board of Education Code of Student Conduct and Discipline.
“We will continue being the Glenn Hills family that comes together to accomplish greatness and excel in academics and athletics. We value your partnership to help keep our classrooms focused on teaching and learning and free of disruptions,” the letter states.
