Concrete work to force closures for Savannah River bridge project

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - The Georgia Department of Transportation will have multiple overnight lane closures as part of the Interstate 20 at Savannah River bridge project to pour concrete and allow it to cure.
The following closures are planned for this week:
- Jan. 31, 10 p.m. until Feb. 1, 7 a.m.: Single, right-lane closure on I-20 eastbound from mile marker 200 in Georgia to mile marker 201.5.
- Feb. 1, 10 p.m. until Feb. 2, 7 a.m.: Single, right-lane closure on I-20 eastbound from mile marker 200 in Georgia to mile marker 201.5 in Georgia.
- Feb. 2, 10 p.m. until Feb. 3, 7 a.m.: Single, right-lane closure on I-20 eastbound from mile marker 200 to mile marker 201.5 in Georgia.
Motorists are advised to expect delays and drive with caution.
