28-year-old killed in shooting on East Boundary

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A 28-year-old was shot and killed on East Boundary early Wednesday morning, according to the Richmond County Coroner’s Office.
Authorities say officials arrived to the 400 block of East Boundary in reference to a shooting that occurred at approximately 12:10 a.m.
The coroner’s office confirmed that Wonya Malik Ryan, 28, of Monte Carlo Drive, was shot at least one time and taken to Wellstar MCG hospital.
Ryan was pronounced dead at 2:06 a.m., and an autopsy has been scheduled, according to the coroner’s office.
