ORANGEBURG, S.C. - In another Biden istration visit to the Palmetto State, Vice President Kamala Harris will visit South Carolina State University to encourage voters to get to the polls early.

The Get-Out-the-Vote event will happen on Friday.

This is ahead of the Democratic presidential primary happening on Saturday, the party’s first in the nation this year.

Harris was in Columbia on Martin Luther King Jr. Day as the keynote speaker for King Day at the Dome.

First lady President Joe Biden was in South Carolina over the weekend.

On the Republican side

Meanwhile, Nikki Haley will make stops in South Carolina ahead of the Republican presidential primary.

She’ll host a meet and greet in Columbia on Thursday afternoon and then travel to Hilton Head.

On Feb. 23, former president Donald Trump will be in Columbia for the annual gala hosted by the Black Conservative Foundation.

That’s the night before the Republican primary.
