21-year-old arrested in Augusta aggravated assault incident

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 21-year-old suspect in connection to an aggravated assault incident on Thursday, according to authorities.
Authorities say Xavier Jamal Ray was wanted in reference to an assault that occurred on the 400 block of Carmell Circle, officials say.
Ray was arrested on Monday and charged with two counts of possession of a weapon during a violent crime and three counts of aggravated assault, according to jail records.
