Learn the future rezoning plans in Columbia County
GROVETOWN, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - If you are wondering about the zoning signs in Columbia County, here is where you can learn what it takes to get them in the ground.
The county says what started as an informational class has branched out.
Now, they dive deeper into the planning process.
Danielle Montgomery, the county planner, says, “The classes are very educational, they’re discussion-oriented, it’s a chance to ask questions and find out how we regulate land use and what the future of the county is. Having the classes as a background if you come to those meetings, you’ll have a better understanding as to what’s going on.”
The next class will be Feb. 27 at 11 a.m.
The class will be in the computer training room in building c of the Evans government complex.
