Fire damages wood-frame home on Wrightsboro Road

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A fire damaged a small home Tuesday afternoon on Wrightsboro Road.
The fire was reported sometime before 12:30 p.m. in the 1300 block of Wrightsboro Road.
Upon arrival, crews saw flames and smoke at the front of the wood-frame home. The fire was quickly extinguished, and no injuries were reported.
The resident was been put in with the Red Cross for assistance.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
