Saluda 52-year-old driver dies when car slams into tree

SALUDA, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - A Saluda 52-year-old died in a crash this week when his car slammed into a tree, according to authorities.
The Saluda County Coroner’s Office said the crash happened early Tuesday on Long Road near Robins Walk Lane in Saluda.
A sedan crashed into a tree in the one-vehicle accident.
The driver of the sedan died at the scene and was later identified as Micheal Shane Adams.
The crash is being investigated by the South Carolina Highway Patrol Highway Patrol and Saluda County Coroner’s Office.
