NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - The CSRA has another lottery winner after a North Augusta player won $10,000 in Tuesday night’s Mega Millions game.

A customer at Sprint Food Store 737 at 107 Edgefield Road in North Augusta won $10,000. The lucky player matched four white ball numbers and the gold Megaball number to win the $10,000 prize. South Carolina had another $10,000 winner in Myrtle Beach.

Meanwhile, two $1 million tickets were sold in Georgia for matching all five white ball numbers. Six tickets won $10,000 each for matching four white ball numbers and the yellow Mega Ball. None of the winning Georgia tickets were sold in the CSRA.

But the luckiest player was in New Jersey, where someone won the fifth-largest Mega Millions jackpot of $1.13 billion.

The winning ticket was bought Tuesday night by someone who chose the numbers themselves instead of using the system’s Quick Pick option, lottery officials said.

The big win came after 30 consecutive drawings without a jackpot winner.

Miss out on that drawing? No problem. There will be a drawing Wednesday night for an estimated $865 million Powerball jackpot. No one has won that prize either since New Year’s Day, making for 36 drawings without a winner.
