Family of Orangeburg double-homicide victim speaks out
ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WIS) - The Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office is continuing a double homicide that occurred at a home in Cordova last week.
A celebration of life service was held for James Christopher Robinson Jr., one of the two victims.
His family is still heartbroken over the loss but remains strong as they are still fighting to seek justice for their loved one.
“We just want my brother back, we can’t get him back. So really we just want justice,” said Keonna Monroe, Robinson’s older sister.
On Tuesday, friends and family packed the Glovers Funeral home as they celebrated the life of Robinson.

Rasheen Monroe, Robinson’s older cousin, said Robinson would always have a smile on his face and how he expressed love for the people he cared about.
“He was spunky, fun, liked to turn up and have a good time. My whole family was like that,” said Monroe.
A spokesperson from the Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation is still ongoing.
Robinson and Kayla Beason were both found dead on Monday, March 25 at Beason’s home. Robinson’s mother, Crystal Robinson and his family expressed anger as they seek justice.
A suspect was arrested last week in connection to this case. The suspect was charged with obstruction of justice and has since bonded out of jail.
“I want him picked up, I want him off the streets because it’s sad that they got him out on the streets. Just like he harmed my son, he can harm anybody else’s child too,” said Robinson.
The funeral for the other victim in this case, Kayla Beason is set for Wednesday afternoon.
