2024 Red Carpet Tour makes stop in city of Augusta
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - The Georgia’s Chamber of Commerce celebrated economic developments across the peach state with the 2024 Red Carpet Tour on Thursday.
The invitation-only event made a stop across from Augusta National on Washington Road at Magnolia Drive.
Influential figures including Georgia Governor Brian Kemp made appearances as the Masters tournament takes center stage.
“I’m looking forward to the economic opportunity that will come to the state of Georgia and the CSRA as a result of this tour,” said Augusta Mayor Garnett Johnson. “As you know we have had Arubis, LLC that has made a $700 million investment in this area. We have had Senseco that is doing some great things as a result of the Biden-Harris clean energy initiative.”

Business leaders from around the world are invited to the event, where they’re paired up with a Georgia business industry leader.
The Red Carpet Tour is a four-day experience across the state of Georgia and stops in Augusta every year.
