(InvestigateTV) — The U.S. Census says in 2020, 1.2 million Americans lived in nursing homes.
The National Institutes of Health says that number is expected to nearly double by 2050.
In the coming years, more people, maybe even you, will be choosing a facility to care for a loved one.
If you or someone you love needs a permanent place to live out the end of life with medical care or a short-term facility to stay for rehab after surgery, a nursing home might be the right choice, but it can be a daunting decision.
