1 transported to burn center after Augusta structure fire

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - One person was transported to the Burn Center after a structure fire on Tuesday, according to authorities.
Augusta fire crews say they responded to a structure fire on the 2400 block of North Carolina Avenue at 1:44 p.m.
When crews arrived, flames and smoke were visible.
Firefighters found two men outside the home, but no one inside, authorities say.
The fire was quickly extinguished, according to authorities. The Red Cross has been notified to provide necessary to those affected by the incident.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, authorities say.
