Patrol car involved in accident on William Few Parkway

EVANS, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office responded to an accident on William Few Parkway involving a patrol car on Wednesday.
Officials say the crash was near the Publix at the Willliam Few Parkway and Washington Road intersection.
The driver of the other car involved failed to yield to the deputy, officials say.
The sheriff’s office says the deputy was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The deputy has since been released from the hospital.
