38-year-old pedestrian killed in crash on Deans Bridge Road

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - The Richmond County Coroner’s Office has identified a 38-year-old as the victim of the vehicle and pedestrian crash on Deans Bridge Road on Thursday morning, according to officials.
The Coroner’s Office identified Tony Maurice Walker, of Augusta, was attempting to cross Deans Bridge Road when he was struck.
He was pronounced dead on the scene at 12:33 a.m., according to the coroner.
The coroner’s office says the accident was on Deans Bridge Road at Lyman Street around 12:03 a.m.
