AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - We have new details from the coroner’s office about the pedestrian death on Wednesday in Augusta.

In Augusta

A 22-year-old pedestrian died after being hit in the 3500 block of Windsor Spring Road on Wednesday.

The Coroner’s Office confirms Dominique A. Abraham, of Augusta, was crossing Windsor Spring Road when she was struck by a southbound vehicle.

Abraham was pronounced dead on the scene at 9:20 p.m. and an autopsy has been scheduled, the coroner says.

In Burke County

A driver, identified as Trevor James Michael Prevatt, 27 years old, from Temple, Ga., was thrown out of the vehicle in a crash and succumbed to injuries from blunt-force trauma, according to authorities.

Authorities say the crash occurred shortly after 11 p.m. Wednesday in the 500 block of River Road near Marie Vann Road.

The Burke County Sheriff’s Office said the vehicle veered out of control while traveling north on River Road, causing it to leave the roadway on the north shoulder and hit a dirt embankment.

The vehicle overturned multiple times and Prevatt was ejected.

In Edgefield County

A vehicle flipped over, causing unknown injuries in North Augusta early Thursday morning, according to authorities.

Edgefield County dispatch says they responded to a single-vehicle crash around 8 a.m. on the 300 block of Murrah Road a mile and a half from Merriwether Elementary School.

The crash backed up traffic from Woodspring Court and Hampton Drive at 8:35 a.m., according to the South Carolina Department of Transportation map.

In Aiken

A two-vehicle crash caused minor injuries on East Pine Log Road on Thursday morning, according to authorities.

Aiken City Department of Public Safety dispatch says they responded to a crash on East Pine Log Road and Banks Mill Road at 8:45 a.m.

Authorities say they were still on the scene as of 9:05 a.m. and were still unsure if anyone was injured.

There are no lanes blocked at this time, dispatch says.

According to authorities, traffic was backed up at 9:30 a.m. and deputies were still on the scene.
