Single-car crash kills 2 people in Barnwell County
BLACKVILLE, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - Two people are dead after an early morning crash in Barnwell County.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol says the accident happened at 3:10 a.m., April 27, on U.S. 78, about six miles outside of Blackville.
Troopers say two people were in a 2010 Crown Victoria, heading west on U.S. 78, when the car ran off the right side of the road and overturned multiple times.
Both the driver and enger died at the scene.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
The names of the driver and enger have not been released.
It wasn’t the only fatal crash in the past few days.
In Augusta, a 60-year-old moped driver died after he hit the side of a vehicle turning onto Harold Road from Peach Orchard Road.
On Saturday afternoon, a driver was killed in a single-car crash just north of Monetta.
And on Wednesday, one person died in a Burke County crash on River Road.
