NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - Nine North Augusta Yellow Jackets signed their letters of intent on Thursday.

Two football players, two wrestlers, three cheerleaders, a soccer player and a track star came together, sharing this once-in-a-lifetime experience with their loved ones.

“I never really thought about wrestling in college. It was a thing that I didn’t think I was good enough to do, but I got the opportunity and I feel like I’m really grateful for it and I really wanted to do this. This is something that I’m really proud of myself for,” said Ian Brannen, who signed with Limestone University.

Amanda Morrison, who signed with Presbyterian College, said: “I have always dreamed to cheer in college. My mother was a cheerleader in college, my father played baseball in college, and I’m just absolutely excited.”

Seth Vaughn, who signed with Erskine College, said: “For kids trying to recruit, just reach out to coaches, because honestly just reaching out will go a long way and just follow your dreams.”

With nine gs in five different sports, it was a wonderful day to be a Yellow Jacket.
