Student caught with gun at Josey High School in Augusta
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A student at T.W. Josey High School was caught with a gun in their bookbag on Monday, according to school officials.
In a letter sent to parents, school officials say a student reported to s that another student had a gun on campus.
s located the student, where a gun was found in the student’s bag, the letter states.
This situation is being addressed by the Richmond County School System Police and the Board of Education Code of Student Conduct and Discipline.
“We will continue being the T.W. Josey High School family as we approach the end of the school year and accomplish greatness and excel in academics and athletics,” Dr. Derrias Priestley said in the letter.
