Fox Creek baseball, softball move up in playoffs

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Both Fox Creek’s baseball and softball teams got to work on the diamond in the playoffs.
Each is inching towards a title to call their own.
In a bid to do what hasn’t been done since 2017, when their coach really wore the uniform, the Predators met Blacksburg with a district title on the line.
It was the closest game the Predators have played. But that only lasted two innings.
The Predators won 11-2.

A few yards away, one game outside of a district championship, the Lady Preds were up against Abbeville.
Comin’ off a loss against Chesnee, Fox Creek was on the revenge hunt and the Panthers were on the wrong path.
The Lady Peds won 18-7.
