AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - The entire CSRA has been placed under a “Marginal Risk” for the chance of a severe thunderstorm or two today. Overall, the severe threat is low with the best chance for a strong storm this afternoon into this evening.

A few lingering showers/storms are possible today but Thursday is looking mostly dry with temperatures reaching the middle 80s today and tomorrow. Winds will be a little breezy this afternoon out of the west between 10-15 mph. Gusts at times could be near and over 20 mph. Skies will be mostly to partly cloudy today, but we should see more sunshine by Thursday. Wind changes out of the north Thursday and stays between 5-10 mph.

Rain chances increase again by late Friday into Saturday with showers and thunderstorms being possible. Temperatures will be near average with highs in the lower to middle 80s and lows on the warm side in the middle to upper 60s.
