Kneece told us this has happened before, with employees at the landfill taking care of that fire on Wednesday.

There were no reported injuries and no endangered buildings.

Everything was contained, according to Kneece.

Kneece also told us crews were unsure of the cause, and the landfill crew would be handling any further updates.

Back in March, a bulldozer caught fire at the landfill, according to authorities.
