Evans High seniors say graduation is ‘bittersweet’
EVANS, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - On Friday, about 400 students graduated from Evans High School.
We caught up with the class vice president and salutatorian/class president ahead of the graduation ceremony.
They explain the best part about attending Evans High School.
“I’m really sad, it’s bittersweet but I think being involved is really one of the best things I ever did ing clubs, and you meet so many great people along the way. I think you really have to make the most of your high school experience, high school is really what you make it because you can get the most out of it by involving yourself as much as you can because that’s when you can make connections, good connections with your teachers, friends that kind of stuff,” said graduates Madison Sankey and Ria Tamrakar.
Around 2,000 students graduated this year from Columbia County.
