Ridge Spring man accused of molesting 5-year-old, 7-year-old
SALUDA, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - A Ridge Spring man has been arrested and charged with sexually molesting two girls.
The incidents happened in June or July 2023 when one victim was 5 and the other was 7, according to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division.
Columbia County man charged with child sexual exploitation
A 43-year-old man is facing sexual exploitation of children charges after an October 2023 incident, according to warrants from the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office.
The agency said suspect Martavius Avery Andrews Griffin, 27, was charged Thursday with two counts of criminal sexual conduct with a minor – victim under 11 years of age. He’s being held in Saluda County jail, according to SLED.
The incidents happened in Ridge Spring and were discovered when the 5-year-old reported pain in her genital area while bathing, according to authorities.
Other female children in the home were then interviewed, leading to discovery of the other victim, according to authorities.
