AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - You may our coverage of Braxton and Gage last year when they qualified for the Bassmaster Junior National Championship.

Well, they qualified again this year after winning the South Carolina State Championship on Lake Murray.

The dynamic duo will head to Lake Chickamauga in Tennessee for the Bassmaster Junior National Championship later this month.

According to B.A.S.S:

“The Bassmaster Junior National Championship will be held July 26-27 on Chickamauga Lake, followed by the Strike King Bassmaster High School National Championship on Aug. 1-3. The City of Dayton will host both events, with daily takeoffs and weigh-ins held at Dayton Boat Dock.

The Junior Series event will feature anglers from grades second through eighth, while the High School Series event will have a field comprised of eighth- to 12th-graders. With the High School and Junior Series kicking off this past February, young anglers are busy qualifying now through regular-season events at both levels.”

Braxton and Gage will be hosting a fundraising tournament out of Wildwood Park Saturday, July 13th with a 5 am and 1 pm weigh-in. Give them a follow on Facebook to follow their journey.
