AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - It’s peaches galore over in Aiken.

News 12 stopped by Cold Creek Nursery for their annual peach fest.

This year, leaders said they are celebrating the third year of the festival with one of the largest crowds they have ever seen.

One woman who works for the market said they had nearly 70 baskets ready to sell and every peach came from the Johnston, South Carolina area.

Whether they are good or bad Blye Eichenberg said there are many ways you can serve up a peach to enjoy.

“Even if they’re starting to go bad, you can use them for jams, ice cream, preserves, so ripe or not ripe, peaches are great so come visit us,” said Eichenberg.

The market also had Flannigan’s bring its ice cream truck out to share some treats and the SPCA for those looking to adopt a kitten or puppy.
