A burglary led to a bomb recovery after an ongoing dispute between two brothers in Aiken County, according to authorities.

The “explosive ordnance detection K-9 team” responded and quickly determined that it was a movie prop, thrown away by someone working in the film industry, police said, adding that the prop was taken apart and returned to the trash.
“It perfectly illustrates the principle of ‘see something, say something,” Roswell police said in a statement. “If you ever come across anything suspicious, don’t delay, call us right away.”
