Local basketball talent takes to the court at Peach Jam
Peach Jam continues in North Augusta. The stars are out and one of our local basketball stars was back on the court Tuesday night.

Dybantsa is the top recruit in the Class of 2025, and Stokes sits atop national rankings in 2026.
It’s a slam-dunk roster for a coach and the fans who get to see them in action.
“It’s kind of like inspiring to watch them play. It kind of wants you to go work on your game and get better,” said Bobby Blackwell, Westside state champion.
And that’s coming from a state champion.
“They’re very amazing to watch, you know. Tyran gets anything he wants. AJ gets anything he wants. They’re very hard to stop. It’s kind of like child’s play almost, because they’re so powerful and strong, they get over the defenders,” said Blackwell.

“Wow. That was good,” said Barnes.
It’s what captured the attention of players at every level.
Last year, Dybansta was the top scorer of Peach Jam, and Stokes isn’t far behind.
Blackwell said: “The work they put in and I mean they’re such good players. The energy they bring to the game. It’s just you know, it’s like it’s like shell shocking kind of.”
