2nd suspect arrested in Augusta killing outside Dollar General
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Authorities have made two arrests in two days in the murder of a man whose body was found in June outside a Dollar General, according to authorities.
On Friday, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office and the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested Creston Curry on Sherman Street in Augusta. Curry, 37, was wanted on charges of murder and armed robbery in the slaying of Elias Jkhael Delk, 28.

Curry was also wanted on unrelated outstanding warrants, according to deputies.
Arrested Thursday in connection with the killing was Tamiko Shynese Bolton, 36.
A witness had stated Bolton and others struck Delk with their fist, feet and a stick, causing hematomas to the scalp and face, broken ribs that punctured his left lung, according to an arrest warrant for Bolton.

Delk was murdered June 15 around 4:30 a.m. at 1710 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., according to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.
He’s among more than 170 people who’ve been killed in an outbreak of violent crime that’s swept the CSRA in the past two years. Communities large and small on both sides of the Savannah River have been affected.
