Richmond County schools work to staff up for new year
While some school districts in the CSRA are already starting the school year, some, like the Richmond County School System, are still preparing.

The project includes 12 more classrooms to increase the operating capacity of the school to an enrollment of 1,000 students.
Belair Middle School will open in a temporary facility until construction is complete.
“School is in good shape. It’s an empty school and the middle school is ready to receive a middle school. The entire school, istration, staff and all of the students go to that school together,” he said.
Students will begin the school year at the former Langford Middle School, 3019 Walton Way.
