1-legged woman hits man with truck after hopping away, cops say
SPARTANBURG, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office said Saturday that a woman was arrested after stealing a man’s truck and hitting him with it, among other offenses.
Deputies say the truck’s owner, Anthony Mann, went inside a SPINX gas station to grab a drink and noticed a one-legged woman with crutches sitting on the sidewalk. The truck’s owner said he felt bad for the woman and intended to give her some money on his way out.
Child cruelty case started with unusual report of possible drowning
After a mysterious report of a possible drowning and a 2-year-old’s visit to a hospital, authorities have arrested a woman on a charge of child cruelty.

According to deputies, Mann said that before he could even buy his drink, he noticed the woman, Kellie Revis, 30, “hopping” away on her crutches toward his truck. Mann said he left his drink behind and ran to his truck, but Revis had already lifted herself inside the Ford F150.
Mann tried to stand in Revis’s way, but she hit him with the F150 and drove away.
Deputies said that while responding to the case, they received a phone call from the Duncan Police Department informing deputies that Revis had been caught at the Chick-fil-A at 1519 E Main St. in Duncan, S.C.

Deputies said that once they arrived, the police department ed Spartanburg County deputies a bag filled with the items Revis had on her person, which included half pills of Clonazepam, two small containers of Naloxone HCI, a syringe, and a pack of drug test strips.
Deputies said the stolen vehicle had broken down during her attempted escape.
Mann has his own tow company and used it to retrieve his vehicle.

Deputies said that once they arrested Revis, she itted to stealing the truck, but she claimed it did not belong to Mann.
The DMV confirmed the vehicle was indeed Mann’s.
According to deputies, Revis also claimed she did not know where the pills came from. Deputies said they discovered her license had been suspended for failure to pay a traffic ticket.

Revis was booked into the Spartanburg Co. Detention Facility.
Deputies said the following warrants will be sought for Revis:
- Grand larceny (enhanced)
- Malicious damage to personal property
- Possession of stolen vehicle (enhanced)
- Possession of prescription medication
- Driving under suspension
