NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - On Monday, a fundraiser at Your Pie helped Hopes for Hooves.
The program helps rescue equines while helping children in the area.
Next month, the group is hosting its Healing with Horses program helping children deal with trauma, crisis and other life challenges.

Cooper Ridge has been around for four years improving the mental, physical and emotional well-being of everyone who walks through their gate.

“Sometimes they are just trying to find their way in life, we do a bible study with hope for hooves, we try to give them a sense of belonging, a sense of direction in their life we try to get them through emotional and spiritual healing that needs to take place, we try to take a part of that, we just built a relationship with that child,” said Bentley Roberson, a volunteer.
He says they do a fundraiser at Your Pie every month.
