ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Just days before predicted record-breaking Labor Day travel begins, a dangerous drug was intercepted at the Atlanta airport.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (says on Aug. 21, agents seized over five pounds of gamma butyrolactone (GBL) at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. GBL has many street names such as liquid ecstasy and “coma in a bottle,” according to CBP.

CBP says a 26-year-old American traveling back to the U.S. from Spain was found with two containers of liquid GBL in his luggage.
