North Augusta library opens after months of renovations

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - North Augusta’s Nancy Carson Library returns for all your reading needs and more.

It was closed for nine months of renovations and reduced capacity.

Now, when you go inside, you will see a new entryway with new seating, a children’s area, a reading room and much more.

Facebook parent company brings data center, jobs to Aiken

South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster visited Aiken Thursday for the announcement of an Aiken data center by social media giant Meta.

“The investment has been a tremendous project for the community. The library speaks volumes about how much the community appreciates education and lifelong learning. It’s also a testament to the quality of life,” said South Carolina Senator Tom Young.

The library will be closed on Monday for Labor Day.
