McMaster seeks help for S.C. counties hit hard by Debby

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster is asking for federal help for counties affected by Tropical Storm Debby.

He’s requesting a presidential disaster declaration and the same from the U.S. Small Business istration.

Damage estimates are valued at more than $16 million.

If approved, the presidential disaster declaration will help 15 counties, including Bamberg, Barnwell and Orangeburg.
