Trump planning to attend Georgia-Alabama football game
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - Former President Donald Trump will be in attendance for the Alabama-Georgia football game that will be played in Tuscaloosa in two weeks.
Alabama Sen. Katie Britt says that she is looking forward to hosting Trump and Montana Sen. Steve Daines at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Former president, who’s been in hospice care since February 2023, is excited to cast his absentee ballot for Vice President Kamala Harris, Jason Carter told reporters.

Earlier this week in an interview with WBRC, Alabama GOP Chairman John Wahl said that he thought attending the game was “something he would like to do” when asked about Trump attending the game.
“I can confirm this is something Donald Trump has been thinking about, and I think this is something he would like to do. There’s just so many logistics, especially with securing a venue with a stadium that holds tens of thousands of people, can security be where it needs to be,” Wahl said.
Votes for Cornel West and Claudia De la Cruz will count in Georgia for now
In yet another reversal, votes in Georgia for presidential candidates Cornel West and Claudia De la Cruz will count for now after the Georgia Supreme Court paused orders disqualifying them.

The Crimson Tide will take on Georgia on Sept. 28. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
