Murder suspect escapes from Grady Hospital, Atlanta police say

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Atlanta police said a murder suspect is on the run after escaping from Grady Memorial Hospital.
Police said Carwon Marqavious Redding, 32, escaped from the hospital around 2 p.m. on Friday. Redding had been arrested Thursday in connection with a deadly shooting on Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway in April.
According to police, he was awaiting medical treatment when he escaped.
Redding was last seen wearing a hospital gown but may have changed clothes, according to police.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911.
