18-year-old victim dies several days after shooting in Augusta
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - An 18-year-old died several days after being shot in the 1300 block of Druid Park Avenue, according to authorities.
Jean Paul Magala, 18, was shot at least one time Sept. 20 and taken to Wellstar MCG hospital, where he was pronounced dead. An autopsy has been scheduled.
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office says 19-year-old Teric Ivey was arrested last Saturday after officers responded to Wellstar MCG hospital emergency room regarding a walk-in gunshot victim.

On the scene, officers spoke with four victims who stated they dropped off a 15-year-old juvenile woman at a home on the 1300 block of Druid Park Avenue when several unknown people came outside and began arguing with them.
According to the victims, during the argument, someone from the home began shooting at their car, making with the enger side of it.
2 suspects accused of violent kidnapping, burglary in Aiken
Two suspects have been arrested in connection to a violent burglary and kidnapping crime in Aiken, authorities told us on Monday.

One of the victims stated that she sped off in an attempt to get away from the gunfire when they realized another one of the victims had been shot in the right side of his head, according to the incident report.
The victim told officials she immediately drove to the emergency room so the gunshot victim could be treated.
Officials say that after conducting a CT scan, doctors learned that the bullet was still lodged in the right side of the victim’s head, at the time of the incident.
According to officials, the three other victims were not injured during this incident.
The victims said they did not see who was shooting at them as they were taking cover inside the car. The gunshot victim was unable to speak at the time of the call due to being incubated, according to officials.
Officials say the car sustained damage to the right front enger door and a cracked windshield.
Ivey is charged with four counts of aggravated assault and one count of possession of a firearm or knife during a crime.
