Washington County deputies ask owner to claim drugs they found

DAVISBORO, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Authorities are searching for the person or people responsible for drugs found near Washington State Prison, while deputies were working during storm response.
On Oct. 7, authorities said while in Davisboro during storm response, deputies located drugs in a clearing off Highway 231 near Washington State Prison.
Authorities said they found marijuana, prescription medication and THC-infused candy.
In a Facebook post, Sheriff Joel Cochran stated “If you would like to claim ownership of these packages please come see us at 733 Kaolin Road, Sandersville.”
