COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Now that voter registration has closed in South Carolina, the next step in the election is early voting.

Voter registration was extended due to Hurricane Helene ― the first time an extension was granted since 2018 from Hurricane Matthew. It closed at midnight Monday.

Early voting begins Oct. 21 and will run for two weeks from 8:30 in the morning until 6 p.m.
