Alleluia Community wins back-to-back volleyball state championships

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -For the second straight year, the Alleluia Community School volleyball program is the Georgia Association of Private & Parochial Schools Class A state champion.
Alleluia beat Cherokee Christian in the GAPPS semifinal 3-0. They moved on to play Oakwood Christian in the finals where they took the Eagles in three straight sets to bring home their newest title.
Through the postseason they didn’t drop a single set: 9-0 , finishing 28-3 overall.
Reese Janik brought her total ace count to 127, while Madie French reached a milestone 721 digs this year.
Alleluia beat GHSA power programs like Aquinas, Harlem, and Greenbrier this season. They return every varsity player next season.
