Augusta Transit offers free rides to vote on Election Day
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Augusta Transit will offer free rides all day on any bus route for you to exercise your right to vote, conduct grocery shopping and attend medical appointments on Election Day.
All Augusta Transit buses accommodate persons with a disability who require special accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

As you prepare to vote on Tuesday, here’s everything you need to know before heading into the polls.

For persons with a disability who require additional assistance and door-to-door transit service please call 706-821-1819 to determine eligibility and arrange your transportation with Augusta Transit. Reservations must be received no later than Monday, November 4, by 5 p.m. Same-day reservations for travel on the same day will not be accepted.
For persons living in the Blythe and McBean communities, you can reserve a ride with Richmond Transit. Call 706-821-1497 to determine eligibility and arrange your transportation with Richmond Transit. Reservations must be received no later than Monday, November 4, by 5 p.m. Same-day reservations for travel on the same day will not be accepted.
