Walz says there are so many issues facing our country that are at stake.

“Tim and Kamala talk about a new way forward where we’re talking about economic issues and opportunity, right? Reproductive freedom and so many other things affect everyday lives and people. So I hope people will take the opportunity to find out,” Walz says.

She says she and her family will be together Monday night in Detroit and make their way to D.C. on Tuesday.

Election officials ensure safety as early voting ends in Georgia

We’ve already seen a historic push for early voting this election cycle. But when it comes to safety, there is still a lot of concern once people get to the polls.

On the other side of the aisle, Tim Murtaugh, senior advisor for the Trump 2024 campaign, is pleased with voter turnout in Georgia so far.

“We think that Georgia is coming back to President Trump, and we feel that as a battleground state, Georgia is one that we absolutely have to have, got to have Georgia, and President Trump wants to win it very badly, and he feels that he’s running strong there,” Murtaugh says.

He says the turnout for Trump in Georgia is high compared to historical standards. Murtaugh says the rural counties are turning out in early votes in big numbers.
